Central Maine Home Inspection performs a visual inspection of the readily accessible areas of the property, as well as the major systems and components including, but not limited to the roof, exterior structure, heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, water heaters, interior spaces, attic areas, insulation, ventilation, basement, crawlspaces, foundation, decks, porches, garages, grounds, and much more.

Inspections require approximately 2-3 hours to complete. Please, be aware that times are approximate and are dependent upon age, size, and other mitigating factors.

• Inspections include detailed narrative reports, which identify deficient items, but also include assets the home has.
• Reports include an inspection checklist which identify and report condition of the home's visible and readily accessible areas and components.
• Digital Photographs of various components are included in every inspection.
• Every inspection comes with an agreement, which is read and signed before the inspection is started, and becomes part of the complete report.
• Typical cost starts at $275, but may be higher depending upon size, unusual features, and/or total square footage.

At this time inspections do not include testing for any gas including radon, or other environmental hazards. Water quality testing, septic system functioning, wells, and sewer systems are also excluded.
